a better example of worse case scenario in comparison to the potential of Mercs2 might be Assassin's Creed. COD4's "unexpected" boom was pretty expected. and also the extended boom has a lot to do with the multiplayer longevity of it.

I see. To prepare for the worst case scenario (COD4 like unexpected booming), and combined with the fact that this game's release is still a long way from release (as you mentioned), so I am going "slow and high" on this, just like I did with Gears of War 2.
If Buronut should ever get to 160 DKP or above, I will also short them. You should be careful of margin call, especially when you are almost red.
I am losing money on Mario Kart Wii April Short, so for those people who think that I am only shorting X360 games, you have your evidence that what you think is not correct.

Do you know how much Mercenaries 1 sell WW ? Or if you don't have WW figure, do you have US figure ?
The US figure I have, combined with the fact that Mercenaries 1 on XBOX doesn't even get Silver award from ELSPA, means that Mercenaries 2 will have to sold way, way better than Mercenaries to crack 1.9 Million. In fact, it have to do 300% better (100% of the original + 300% sales # increase = 400% of Mercenaries 1 #) before it can crack 1.9 Million.

If it is add-on, not replacing core controller, not all X360 owner will have it. Developers will need to estimate how many % of X360 userbase have the "X360mote" and adjust their sales expectation accordingly.
