More than 10 years ago, serious computer role-playing game fans fell in love with a postapocalyptic role-playing game called Fallout, a game that offered deep role playing, dark humor, and a memorable adventure that was worth replaying.
We are confirming that there will be a North America offering of this VERY, VERY Limited Edition bundle! This is the “gunmetal grey” PS3 – the one seen selling out in a matter of moments in Japan at the KonamiStyle web store. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting product!
Can't find and answer and this appears to be the best place to post this, apart from "General."
How long must you maintain an achievement in order to have it granted?
i.e. I closed at 5million last night, but my achievement isn't shown yet. Do i need to keep it for 24 hours? same question for net-votes.
@decidence,
Sometimes the sequel is just better. I might call this the Terminator 2 clause. I wouldn't primarily base it on numbers from SC.
One thing i would weigh into consideration is the ammount of PC gamers, has it increased or decreased? WoW really changed the way to look at PC gaming. I would be more apt to use that as a case for argumentation as opposed to SC1.
@lstormy10,
I dont think historically TSE has been consistent for consistencies sake alone. I think what the admin's do, is choose the best option, which sometimes means breaking tradition. Hence the case with Project H.A.M.M.E.R. They had to make a new rule. I think Red Steel if what lao says is correct would be another example. Hence TSE Beta.
David Gardner has stated his belief that forthcoming adventure title Alone in the Dark can sell "2-3 million units" on all platforms, following its delayed release in June this year.
@Dictionary,
This to me appears to be one of those titles that make it onto a special list where it is sold at $20-30 new after it has died on the shelf. This will then breathe new life into the title and it will sell again, for a while. I forget what nintendo calls these kind of things.
I was thinking about the discrepancy between the wii-fit and the powerpad. I am not sure if obesity is a larger problem now, we are more sensative to our health or some other things. In my mind they target the same market. The powerglove in a way shares a lot of similarities with the wii-mote, however the glove was poorly executed, as anyone who has ever used it knows.
All of that to say, will wii-fit be a big craze? Do we have a different culture? Will it eventually be bundled like the pad was? i think these are some key determining factors when estimating the stock.
My wife and I bought the wii with the idea of using it as a party system. We live in a 900 sq. ft. condo in Orange County, CA. We aren't upgrading any time soon and it is hard to play 4 player tennis with out hitting someone. Golf, Bowling, Mario Party 8 are all fine as they dont require us to move the coffee table and hit each other. I think the wii fit looks like a great idea in theory, but for us it may be impractical, just because of our living space and lack of wanting to move the coffee table. We may be a select few, but definitely a perspective worth noting.
Lol... you know that the original SC has not even broken 10 million copies right? Are people expecting to make money on their investment buying at 1500 dkp, maybe if you wait 20 years.
