  So there is still going to be a Core available, that's great news. The new bundles don't interest me at all.

  @Gaara42,

  Hey...

  I said earlier that I had posted the new box art for 3 of the new versions....now we have confirmation from SONY through CNN that the CORE is still $169 (they say $170??!!).

  @kspraydad,

  Looking at Next-Gen.biz's article on this news, it appears that the Ice Silver PSP Entertainment Pack (the one you mentioned) and the Star Wars Battlefront Pack will retail for $199.99. In the GI.biz article it mentions that "All new model PSPs will retail for USD 199" so I think it may be possible that like Sony did originally when launching the PSP, they will only launch with packs, thus causing the price to get a new model PSP to be $199.99

  @Gaara42,

  I thought the 199 was a pack with 1GB card, Daxter and Family Guy UMD pack....is the reg price still not 169?

  To retail for USD 199 and launching worldwide this September. The new console is 33 per cent lighter, slimmer, has a more efficient battery and will produce quicker load times, according to Sony boss Kaz Hirai.
