Jim Brown - a Hall of Fame legend - has chosen this week to sue Electronic Arts and Sony over what he claims is the improper use of his likeness in the Madden NFL series. Brown filed the lawsuit in state court in New York this past Thursday, where he complains that he "never signed away any rights that would allow his likeness to be used."

Too Human is shaping up to be a big hit it seems. Even though some people are skeptical of how the game will turn out, according to hubcanada.com the game has over 900,000 downloads, which is more than any action game to date.

It will remain as easy to use as last year's version, and will feature an enhanced shooting system offering more control. It also has reworked the defensive elements of the game, with more control over defenders and more ways to close down attacking threats. A new AI system has also been implemented and results in more sophisticated and intuitive movement from team mates according to the player's commands. It will be released for Wii in Spring 2009.

If you're a games journalist like me, you end up going to quite a few press events for upcoming games. The more you attend, the more tricks you pick up, but one thing you may also notice is that a lot of developers like testing their games on the 360. (If it's slated for a 360 release.) No-one is more notorious for this then Bethesda.

Square Enix announced that it will bundle a demo version of FFXIII with the Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children & new footage of Versus XIII and Agito XIII. Advent Children Complete, as the Blu-ray version is called, hits JA in March 2009. SE is also planning a hardware bundle that combines it (& the FFXIII demo disc) with the PlayStation 3. The full Japanese release for FFXIII is officially set for 2009, Square Enix also confirmed for the first time today.
