Tom Clancy's EndWar is an RTS game for next generation consoles set during World War III. The game is set to push the boundary of current technology to show unparalleled graphics, physics, AI and animations not before possible.

EndWar will be the first 100 percent next-generation Tom Clancy brand. Serge Hasco�t, chief creative officer at Ubisoft claims: "A strategy game like no other, EndWar will allow gamers to lead their own armies against hundreds of others online in real global locations on the massive battlefields of World War III."

The Private Beta will take place for 3 weeks in June and July. It will feature 3 maps and be playable exclusively online in 1v1 and 2v2 matches. The Beta will be available for Xbox 360, you will need Gold membership and 3GB of free space on your HDD. Participation in this Beta will be strictly confidential, and you will not be allowed to share your experiences playing EndWar anywhere outside of this website. Registration for Beta is in link :)

Tom Clancy's EndWar launching Oct. 14

According to Ubisoft, the console-oriented, real-time strategy game will march onto shelves in the US and Europe on October 14th. It'll launch on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 first, followed by PSP and DS versions at a later stage. A PC version is currenty "under consideration."

EndWar offers something new, refreshing, and a little exciting for console players. It's sort of a coming of age when what could be seen as the last stalwart of the PC -- the RTS -- is made from the ground up with every classic convention put on the chopping block to please the couch player. This is a design that will surely be mimicked and improved upon in the future. For now, we have a good start and a game that is worth playing.
