SOCOM: Confrontation Delayed past Xmas EU

Eurogamer - November 27, 2008

Submitted by PhilHarrision (169) at 10:24AM PST on November 27, 2008

According to this article at Eurogamer SOCOM will be delayed in EU into 2009. No EU Xmas sales should mean a lost opportunity in lifetime sales I think. Quote: Instead, a spokesperson told us the online tactical PS3 shooter will arrive in "early 2009". No reason was given for the delay.

1UP: Revisied Review B+/A+

1UP - November 1, 2008

Submitted by OuterHaven (134) at 9:07AM PST on November 1, 2008

1UP have changed their score in light of the patches that have greatly improved Socom. It was first given a C+. The reviewer says: "But the game's improved enough from its launch state that I'm comfortable recommending it, especially considering it will only get better. I. But if you want a game in which brains are as important as marksmanship, you've found it. "
