totally subscribe to that one, particularly since with multiplatforms these days often times for promotional materials like images and videos they don't even specify what platform it's for and anyway it's relevant for both ps3/xbox360

I wouldn't call these true "sequels" anyways. With a game like Guitar Hero, they're more like expansion packs (as long as they are sold as game-only versions, not forcing people to buy new guitars every time).

Personally, I love the Wii version of GH3 and if they put out a new one with another full track list, I'll happily buy it.
Unlike a series like Tony Hawk, where you're essentially re-packaging the same basic gameplay with a few tweaks, new versions of GH really just expand the experience...also since it's pretty hard to wreck the experience, consumers don't have to worry about quality of the game falling.

Are there any thoughts that quickly pumping out sequels will dilute this franchise, or is it better to milk this as much and as fast as possible? ATVI did this when Tony Hawk became their big hit and the franchise ultimately died. However, this is probably necessary if they want to be the new ERTS.
